Dollores served as a docent at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake for several years, where she gained a great love for the animals of our earth.

Dollores feels that all the animals of our earth, both domesticated and wild give us beauty and fascination that cannot be equaled by anything else. She hopes in some way in the creation of her animal sculptures that she can capture even a small part of that fascination and beauty.
