“I drew Odd Ball as a freshman class project when I was 15 years-old. Later that year I decided to bring the drawing to life. The ring was fabricated from Cor-ten. I welded the spheres and detailed them to create a ‘wear-ring,’ giving the sculpture the illusion of movement. Odd Ball personifies the unique and creative individual and the perspective gained by thinking outside of the mainstream. Odd Ball is a tribute to sculptors and their imagination.”
