“This sculpture was created from an idea I had about plants with flower stems which grow in a horizontal fashion and then shoot upward. After I began the piece, I discovered that the more horizontal it became the more difficult it would be to move. I then modified the original stem design and concentrated on the shape of the flowers. This piece is one of my favorites.”
