Millennia

“As I carve stone…weak areas break away, revealing concave and convex shapes. In this I ‘saw’ in the stone an angel. The only major vein was almost black and seemed to cover her eyes as if she were blindfolded.

The forward movement of the stone gave the sense that she was flying from a place of blind faith, expressing the qualities of trust, hope and faith. To me she represents our ability to trust in God, the Universe, and in ourselves as we move forward with faith, courage, and trust in times of challenge.”
