“I was originally inspired by a petro glyph at the Petrified National Forest of a blue heron eating a frog. It inspired me to think about he scene that the person that created the petro glyph must have seen. I reinterpreted that in a more impressionistic way on the front of the bell and an abstract on the back of the bell.”
